Saturday

Join us for a late brunch to recover and recharge! We will set up around 11am at the picnic tables on Cadboro Bay beach, just down the hill from the UVic campus. We have reserved picnic tables B & H, check out the video to see those spots! Eat, play lawn games, and relax on the beach with us!

Following brunch, those with energy can join an excursion to tour downtown Victoria. Likely destinations include the inner harbour, Chinatown, galleries, gardens, and boutiques. If you would prefer to get a break and explore solo, feel free to ask us for suggestions or logistical support.

Sunday

At the CFB Esquimalt Marina, there will be 10 skippers ready to take you on a fishing adventure! Teams will be formed at the clubhouse during breakfast from 7am-8:30am.  Fishing licenses for one day can be purchased for $15 online then prepare to be out on the open water from 9am to 11am. The team that catches the biggest halibut will win the derby, but really we all win as we get to enjoy a seafood lunch at the clubhouse in the afternoon! (If you dont want to fish, ecoboat tours will also be happening)

Monday to Thursday

The closing ceremonial adventure will take place at the Sidney spit marina park, where we have reserved the large gazebo campsite that can fit up to 20 people! We will take the ferry from Sidney across together on Monday ($31 both ways, ~30 minute boat ride) and prepare for a pack in & pack out situation. This is a provincial park so no matter out of place (moop). If you aren't prepared to camp, then day trips are welcome too! Talk to Kip & Olivia if you need to borrow camping gear!
